Sir Jeffrey was an adventurer, duelist and courtier to Queen Henrietta Maria, wife of King Charles I, he achieved all of this whilst being three and a half feet tall. He lived in Oakham for several years which inspired Oakham brewery to create this modestly strong yet full charactered bitter, just like the great man himself.
